How often should I clean my gutters?
We recommend getting the gutters cleaned a minimum of twice a year, generally spring and fall. Depending on where you live, it may need to be done more frequently. If you notice that the gutters are overflowing when it rains, or that your flower and mulch beds are getting washed out, it may be time to clean them out to make sure that the downspouts are flowing freely.
How do you clean my gutters?
Most times, we hand scoop the debris out of the gutters, bag it all up, and take it away in our truck. We do not use leaf blowers to blow out the gutter troughs. If there is a difficult to access gutter, we may use our Gutter Vacuum system to clean it out, which allows our technicians to keep their feet safely on the ground. This system uses a long pole with a GoPro camera on the end of it, allowing the technician to see into the gutter without climbing a ladder.
How can I be sure that all of my gutters were cleaned properly?
It is our company policy to take pictures of our gutter cleaning work to send back to the office. We will forward any and all pictures to you upon request.
Can you help me keep my downspouts clear between cleanings?
We recommend using a downspout clog preventer to help keep the water flowing all year long. We are a distributor for a product called “The Gutter Stick” and it is an amazing product. Even if the gutter becomes filled with leaves and debris, the Gutter Stick allows water to flow through the downspout.
Can you fix minor gutter problems?
