What does soft washing mean?
Soft washing is the preferred method for cleaning the exterior of your home. We do not use high pressure to clean dirt, grime, mold, mildew, etc. that could potentially damage the siding or force water into places that we don’t want it. Rather, our process of using low pressure combined with a biodegradable cleaning solution is the key. The end results are remarkable and it is a great alternative to using high intensity pressure on delicate surfaces.
Do you need to use the water spigot on my house?
Yes, we will need access to a working water spigot at your home. We will supply hoses.
What if I have a well system for my water supply?
Please inform us before work starts if your home uses a well for a water supply, the last thing we want to do is to use all of the water. We do have a 200 gallon water tank on our trailer that we will bring, but we will need to ensure that we have enough water to finish the job. We may need to find another water source to supplement our supply.
What if it rains on my scheduled day of service?
Our crews will still work in a light rain, but if the weather becomes too extreme or if there is lightning in the area, we will reschedule the service at a convenient time for you.
Do you clean the windows after the house is washed?
The windows will be soaped and rinsed as part of the house washing process, but they will not be squeegeed or detail cleaned unless the window cleaning was included as part of a package as quoted.
Will the house washing also clean the outside of my gutters?
The process of washing the house will brighten up the gutters, but sometimes the black streaks that are seen on the outside will remain. We do have a separate process by which to clean these black streaks as the house washing alone generally does not remove them.
